Meeting between Assistant Director of Programme of NAM CSSTC and Senior Programme Officer of International IDEA – Asia & the Pacific at NAM CSSTC’s Secretariat
Jakarta – The continuation of partnership between the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA) and the Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) was discussed at a meeting between Assistant Director for Programme (ADP) of NAM CSSTC and Senior Programme Officer of International IDEA – Asia & the Pacific, on Thursday (2/1/2018) at the Secretariat of NAM CSSTC, Jakarta, Indonesia.
Results of capturing demand exercises and priority sub-themes of NAM CSSTC programme activities in 2018 were presented in the discussion for consideration when promoting future partnership.
ADP of NAM CSSTC, Niken Supraba, explained that three priority sub-themes have been summarized in accordance with results of capturing demand exercises, that include blue economy, women’s economic empowerment and rural development.
In addition, it was also suggested that if Senior Programme Officer of International IDEA – Asia & Pacific, Adhy Aman, has a programme plan in the field of women’s economic empowerment intended to be collaborated with the NAM CSSTC, Aman could submit its details to be synergized with results of capturing demand exercises, in accordance with demand-driven criteria.
The meeting which was held on 1 February 2018 at the Secretariat of NAM CSSTC, Jakarta, Indonesia was also attended by Assistant Director of Administration and Finance (ADA) of NAM CSSTC, Hasiholan Sirmandus.
