Advanced Training on Integrated Management of Childhood Illness and Essential New Born Care for Timor Leste, 19-23 November 2018

Integrated Management of Childhood Illness and Essential New Born Care for Timor Leste are necessary to achieve Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
In this regard, training has been provided to build capacity of healthcare workers in Timor Leste.
The training became platform for exchange of knowledge and experience between participants and instructors to strengthen new born and child health services. In addition, participants also learned strategies for neonatal health at health centre.
25 doctors and midwives from Ministry of Health of Timor Leste involved as participants, and five doctors and civil servants from Central General Hospital dr. Sardjito and Jakarta Health Training Centre involved as instructors and evaluators.
The achievement was a result of the shared efforts of Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) and Directorate of Technical Cooperation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia.
