MoU Signing between NAM CSSTC and CIRDAP: Joint Commitment to Enhance Rural Development in the Asia-Pacific
Virtual, 11 September 2025.
The NAM Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC) formalized its collaboration with the Centre on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAP) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding. The MoU signing ceremony was held virtually through the Zoom platform on Thursday, 11 September 2025.
The agreement establishes a framework for cooperation between NAM CSSTC and CIRDAP that are focused on capacity building, information and resource sharing, and the application of affordable technologies to support farmers and strengthen rural communities across the Asia-Pacific region. NAM CSSTC welcomed this partnership as a step forward in advancing South-South cooperation to promote the development agendas of its member states across the Asia-Pacific region.
H.E. Ambassador Diar Nurbintoro, Director of NAM CSSTC, expressed optimism about the partnership, stating: “With the signing of this MoU, we are pleased and honored to have this occasion to work together for a better quality of life and a greater resilience in our communities. We are confident that this collaboration will translate into tangible results that can bring lasting benefits among the people in our member countries.”
