NAM CSSTC Strengthens Strategic Cooperation with International Coconut Community

Jakarta, 19 February 2026, The new Director of the Non-Aligned Movement Centre for South-South Technical Cooperation (NAM CSSTC), H.E. Ambassador M. Chandra Widya Yudha, paid a visit to the Director General of International Coconut Community (ICC), Dr. Jelfina C. Alouw, at the ICC Secretariat in Jakarta. During the meeting, the two parties reaffirmed to further strengthening the close cooperation between NAM CSSTC and ICC, which has been developed through years of joint training programs and technical cooperation initiatives. The two parties recognized the importance of reinforcing their collaboration, particularly in growing global demand for coconut-based products and the strategic role of coconut in supporting livelihoods across regions.

They underlined that a strengthened partnerships such as this will play a vital role in ensuring that coconut-producing countries are well-positioned to benefit from emerging economic opportunities while promoting sustainable and inclusive development.
