Renewable Energy Expert Mary Rui to Speak at ASTECHNOVA Conference in Indonesia
The Department of Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics (DNEEP) at Universitas Gadjah Mada will host the 7th ASTECHNOVA: Advanced Energy Innovation conference in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, on October 4-5, 2023. Experts in new and renewable energy, nuclear technology, oil and gas, environmental technology, green technology, energy management, and energy policy will attend the conference.
Mary Rui, a Solar PV Engineer from the Public Utilities Board of Kiribati, has been invited to speak about “Renewable Energy Implementation in the Republic of Kiribati” during a panel session as part of the conference. This was discussed at a virtual meeting of renewable energy experts on March 16, 2023, where attendees also discussed necessary preparations, such as connecting with the conference’s organising committee, discussing presentation details, and making other necessary arrangements.
This conference allows experts in the field to share their knowledge while also promoting the use of renewable energy sources. Rui’s participation in this event will help to advance renewable energy development in the Republic of Kiribati and provide insights for others looking to follow suit.
